"The Great Valley"

Summer is a magical season on the north shore of Kauai. The sun sets far enough north to send golden light streaming into the Hanalei River Valley. As the waterway winds its way to the ocean a picturesque scene develops as waterfalls pour down the face of Namolokama.

Artistic liberty: 3 houses were removed from this photo as they have been built in the last year and completely take away from this landscape.

this is actually me poaching private property...so not here...sometimes i do...but nothing not standard...people see me and a fancy camera and gives me a chance to hand out some biz cards :)
