"Shhh, It's a Secret"

This spot...not so secret...however still rather pretty. This small cascade made for an interesting foreground (always important photogs!).

The mostly filtered light gave a natural spotlight to the falls which really made the greens pop!

Thanks all :)

How long of an exposure was this shot Aaron? It says 1/5 second, is that 5 seconds or 1/5 or a second? New to photography and trying to learn about exposure

2 questions:

1) Did you use any filters on this, or do any exposure blending?
2) Did you use a tripod on this to get it this crisp?

Always always always tripod. Only cpl. Took 2 shots to blend but only needed one in the end. Lots just a few highlights up top but overall it's fine :)

Cool. Nice photo. I do a lot of shooting hand-held just because lugging a tripod around on a hike is a bit of a pain :)

Yep it can be. Why the carbon-fiber can be worth it. One of the reasons it takes dedication to go out and get shots!

I'm sure it's worth it but my budget doesn't allow for that kind of thing as yet :)

take a look at some backpacks that will allow you to mount a tripod. Takes away the hassle of bring it. Water always needs a tripod.
