4 images. ~30s each on a very very unusually clear morning. Large surf made for the misty atmosphere that the light was able to make fairly unique as the beams hit the mountainside. I really try and stay away from images that are 1:4 because they become very difficult to print at a decent size as they need to be very large to look good. But alas :)

Much thanks for the c/c!

This photo look great. The lighting looks quite unreal, too good to be true but I'm confident you didn't manipulated it :) It is so dreamy that the mountains look like the ones generated with some software I don't know, but much much prettier :D.

The long exposure trick with the panoramic format looks awesome though I understand the difficulties for printing such format, I've faced the same thing trying with my shot called La Cannée...

The clear skies and long exposure definitely give it a surreal feel. Fun times! :)

Is it always foggy there?

Never foggy actually. This is just the long exposure blurring the water. :)

I was speaking of the haze beyond the pier, not the ocean below.

Ah ha...well there ya go. Sorry. The haze is actually sea spray from the large surf that was coming in :)
