Kalalau Beach. 180 degree view...with the mostly full moon over the cathedral section of the valley. Needless to say this photo is huge 17x51 @ 300dpi. First time i've done something like this and mostly happy with the results. Note to self, make sure circ. pol is not on next time.

In any case hope you all enjoy!

It's a super image and a great scene but the blending of the sky is very obvious. This always happens to my attempts at Panos, I don't understand why but it's very annoying and renders the image unusable. Shame.

I forgot to take off the cpl so got banding...tis ok. Still looks good 20x60 :)

I used to think it was from polarisers but I have had the same happen without using them. Do you use PTGui?

CS5...and it can happen from lens vignetting too. Have to correct that with some lenses before stitching.

overlap 1/3-1/2...either set it to manual or be prepared to blend each pair of images and go! :)

yes, you need them to be the same exposure otherwise you'll have blending issues..or rather the computer will. can be corrected in post but best to try and nail it.
