Panning the camera during sunset. Part of my growing abstract series.

Much thanks for the c/c!

Quite like it, it reminds me of the work of some guy I happened across a while back, he'd do panning shots around sunrise of surfers. He'd use long exposures of (I'm guessing) half a second or longer and some of the effects he got where brilliant, a slightly blurred surfer in frame with some real lovely abstract blurred water all around the surfer...I think I bookmarked the site but my bookmarks are a total mess...I'll try to dig it up.

Yep, I've done some of those too. Gets a bit tricky but way fun. I should post a surfing shot or two. Though dont shoot them often. Thanks for the thought here!

Another dreamy shot. One day I would love to get your permission to paint one of your backgrounds and add one of my pin ups, it would be such a lovely combination.

I love how subtle the panning feels, not too much but still heavy impact if that makes sense... In other words, I dig it :)

Always an interesting balance w/ these shots. I have some more complicated movements that I am working on that I just havent nailed down yet. One of these days :P
