So I am starting to feel a responsiblity to at least post 1 or 2 shots with the new camera. To say the least it's a beast. The detail is just stupid awesome.
Also, I am inclined to say that gear does NOT make a photographer. Too often do people get caught up in what everyone is shooting w/ etc. What it comes down to is technique, shooting raw, and good lenses. 8mp body w/ a L class lens goes a long way. Proper post technique would be 75% of that too.
In any case. This is my quest to get a shot similar to Kaboom! with crazy sunset light. Optimally I get the sun behind the wave but believe I missed my opportunity for the year as the sun is already going back north.
This was one of the more unique waves of the afternoon as it looks like a tongue. SSSSssssssssssuper.
