The Okolehau Trail just outside of Hanalei offers some great views for sunset during the summer months. Armed with my new 16-35 mk2 I wanted to take advantage of the sun's position and the wonderful sun stars the lens creates. The pushed over brush, courtesy of almost constant trade winds, acted as a good foreground.

Much thanks for the c/c!

I love the hint of the earth's curvature, perhaps created by your using a wide angle lens. The fact that two-thirds of picture is occupied by the island make a great foil to the setting sun.

I'd assume the lens is the cause of the curvature. Fixed it a tad but kinda like it the way it is. Glad you dig :)

I didn't think it needed fixing!

Excellent work. Is it an HDR? It looks a bit that way since you got the foreground lit up... but it looks natural.
