Hiking along the Na Pali is an epic experience to say the least. For this trip we ventured in to the 6mile mark, Hanakoa Valley. After dropping our gear at the site I came back up to the bend in the trail where the valley could be seen. This grove of agave was above us and after scouting around figured they would make for some pretty cool foreground subjects! These things are HUGE. The one directly in front of me had to be 7' across. As the sun set the light made them appear even cooler as the hillside behind them darkened giving natural contrast.
Very cool! I didn't stop in when I was there, but I will definitely make sure to next time! Your photography is incredible man, and you sure picked an awesome place to photograph. Kauai takes the cake as the most beautiful place I've ever been to. Within the next couple of years, I'm really going to try to move there, such an awesome place and I just felt like I belonged there for some reason if that makes sense. Keep up the great work
